virBeaver is a personal blog about virtualization and software-defined datacenter (SDDC) which is maintained by me, Tim Neukirchen. virBeaver is derived from the numerous nicknames around beavers, which I had because of my birthplace, Biberach an der Riss in Germany.

I am currently a solution architect at s.i.g. mbH (a solution provider for SDDC solutions based in Germany). I am responsible for designing solutions for our customers and giving the necessary guidelines for my implementing colleagues. I focus on virtualization, storage and availability. But I am also responsible for network and security requirements. I am a VMware Certified Implementation Expert (VCIX-DCV) and hold several other certifications from Dell EMC, Cohesity and Veeam. More information can be found on XING.
